Wall murals for kids' rooms

A wall mural is the easiest way to give a child's room its own character. One wall with a forest full of animals, a sky with hot air balloons or a map of the world sets the theme for the whole room and grows with your child far longer than a set of stickers. Every Lipastick kids' mural is printed to the exact size of your wall.

Ideas by theme

• Animal nursery murals: friendly woodland, farm and safari animals in soft colors.
• Safari and jungle: giraffes, elephants, lions and tropical leaves.
• Space murals for kids: planets, rockets and astronauts.
• World map murals for kids: playful and educational maps.
• Hot air balloons and mountains: calm, dreamy designs for nurseries.

Ideas by age

For a nursery, choose soft pastel colors and calm scenes such as mountains, clouds or watercolor animals. Toddlers and preschoolers love bright animals, vehicles and fairy-tale worlds. School-age kids often prefer maps, space and adventure themes that also help them learn. For older children, see our wall murals for teens. You can also shop by room: murals for girls, murals for boys and playroom murals.

Practical tips for parents

Place the mural on the wall your child sees from bed, or behind the bed to create a cozy corner. Peel and Stick is a popular choice for kids' rooms because it is easy to remove when your child is ready for a new theme. Economy gives crisp lines for graphic and cartoon designs at the best price.
